Pilaster Columns
Block pilaster columns are a structural repair method that involves connecting a damaged wall with a reinforced block column, providing tremendous strength. This process is the strongest of all repair solutions. This process integrates the new block column into the existing foundation wall by saw-cutting the damaged section, pouring a new footing to underpin the wall, and reinforcing it with rebar. Once completed, the block pilaster column adds a tremendous amount of strength and stability to the damaged foundation wall. Most companies do not suggest this repair solution because they don’t know to do it. We are masons.
